Three Rajasthan residents among four nabbed with 50,000 prohibited tablets

Chandigarh, Apr 5 (Agency) Haryana police has seized 50,000 banned medicines and arrested four persons, including a woman, while they were carrying the prohbited tablets in a car in Sirsa district. Stating this here on Monday, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that a police team while patrolling stopped a car near Ding mor for checking. During the search, it had recovered 50,000 tablets, fallen under the category of prohibited medicines.

The arrested accused were identified as Ajay of village Khori Kalan in Mewat and Mukesh, Ravi and Radha, all residents of Rajasthan. The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and further investigation is underway. Accused would be taken on remand by producing in the court to find out the involvement of others in this racket of drug peddling.
