Anantnag, Mar 14 (FN Representative) A Special Lok Adalat is being held in this south Kashmir district to settle pre-litigation and pending cases of different nature on March 20, 2021, an official spokesman said. He said the adalat will be held at District Headquarter and in subordinate courts, under the Chairmanship of Naseer Ahmad Dar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (CDLSA) and Principal District and Sessions Judge (PDJ), Anantnag.
The Special Lok Adalat will be held for amicable settlement of pre-litigation and pending cases in the courts particularly cases under section 138 NI Act, MACT, Matrimonial, Family Disputes, Labour Disputes, Civil Cases, Criminal Cases, Bank Recovery Cases, Electricity, Water Bills and cases related to other Civil Cases. All the concerned Judicial Officers have been requested to identify and submit the cases to be taken up in the said Special Lok Adalat by or before March 18, 2021 to DLSA Ang. Moreover, the litigants who are interested to settle their disputes in the above scheduled Special Lok Adalat are being informed to approach the concerned courts immediately so that their cases will be listed for amicable settlement in the Special Lok Adalat.
