Amethi (UP), June 10 (FN Bureau) Union Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday attacked Congress and said the Congress, which claims to have opened ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ (shop of love), has proved that it does not do politics, instead it does business. While interacting with the media persons after inaugurating the office of Gauriganj Nagar Palika Parishad during her two day visit, Irani said that Congress has nothing to do with nation building, it is opening Mohabbat ki Dukaan and in this it is not doing politics but is doing business. During her visit, the Union Minister also listened to the problems of the people. She assured to take full responsibility for the treatment of a one-year-old boy from Madhavpur, who is terminally ill.
Siddans Agrahari is suffering from an ailment related to heart and his parents are unable to get him treated due to costly treatment. Irani invited the father of the child to Delhi along with his family and assured him to take responsibility for the operation and treatment. It may be noted that in Jais town under Amethi parliamentary constituency, a youth had changed the name of his shop by putting a board of Mohabbat ki Dukaan. The shopkeeper changed the name of the shop after being influenced by Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. At that time he had said that such shops should be opened all over the country and now the politics of hatred will not work. He said by taking the whole country together, Rahul Gandhi is giving the message of love, on which Smriti Irani took a dig at the Congress on Saturday.
