BJP leaders kick off four-day Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 16 (Agency) The four-day Jan Ashirwad Yatra by BJP commenced with great enthusiasm and fervour in Delhi “to get people’s blessings”. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri started the yatra from Fateh Nagar Gurudwara, the Minister of State for External Affairs, Meenakshi Lekhi, commenced it from the old and famous Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place. Both the leaders offered prayers at these religious places before starting the yatra.

Puri’s yatra commenced from Fateh Nagar Gurudwara and passed through Tilak Nagar, Janakpuri, Raghuvir Nagar, Madipur, Vishnu Garden, Rajouri Market, Dabri Mor, and reached Najafgarh. Meenakshi Lekhi started her Jan Ashirwad Yatra after offering prayers at Hanuman Mandir in New Delhi, where she was accompanied by state party president Adesh Gupta. The yatra was attended by hundreds of party workers and other state senior BJP leaders. The Jan Ashirwad Yatra was planned by the BJP to introduce the new central ministers to the people, which will cut across 22 states over the next few months. Meenakshi Lekhi will conduct three more yatra on 17th and 18 August in Chandni Chowk, east Delhi and some parts of northeast Delhi Lok Sabha constituencies.
