Hamirpur, Jun 2 (Agency) One person was arrested from Lakhau village in the district for keeping 53 grams of charas in his possession. SP, Hamirpur, Gukulchandran Karthikeyan said during a routine checking, a police party found a man sitting in a rain shelter at Manoh and asked why he was sitting there.
The man tried to run away from there but was caught by the alert police personnel. During the search, a packet containing the charas was found in his bag. A case under sections 20-61-85 of NDPS act had been registered against him and further investigation was on.
