Nashik, Apr 25 (Representative) A large cache of banned liquor along with the container transporting it have been seized, totally valuing up to Rs 1.08 crore, the Maharashtra Excise Department stated on Sunday. Two accused, including driver Bhagwandas Dhansingh Kushwaha (41) and Vinod Fulsingh Kushwaha (36), both from Rajasthan were also arrested in this connection, it added. Acting on a tip-off, excise officials from Nashik and Yeola jointly laid a trap on Saturday near the Yeola toll plaza on the Nagar-Manmad Road and intercepted a suspicious container.
