Kannur, Mar 25 (Representative) Air Customs sleuths on Thursday seized 689 grams of gold valued around Rs 31 lakh from a passenger who arrived at Kannur International Airport from Dubai. Customs Assistant Commissioner Madhusoodhana Bhat-led team detained Nowshad of Koothuparamba of Kannur district in this connection. The seized gold was in the compound form and was concealed in his inner-wear, Customs Superintendent Chacko said.
