Hyderabad, Jun 30 (Representative) The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested Nakka Anil, Bill Collector, Municipal Office, Gagtial, the ACB said on Wednesday. Basing on the prima facie material collected in the preliminary enquiry on June 29, a case was registered against Badugu Anuf Kumar, Senior Assistant and Nakka Anil, Bill Collector, both working in the office of the Municipal Commissioner, Jagtial, for indulging in corrupt practices, ACB said in a statement.
Searches were conducted in the 0ffice of the Municipal Commissioner, Jagtial, and the perusal of documents of mutations of the revenue section show that Badugu Anuf Kumar, Senior Assistant and Nakka Anil, Bill Collector, resorted to corrupt practices, collected huge amount of fee for mutations, fabricated the documents and records and misappropriated the amounts collected from the parties. The accused officers, thereby, performed their public duty improperly and dishonestly. The Bill Collector Nakka Anil was arrested and being produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Karimnagar, the release added.
