Kakinada, Sep 15 (Agency) The district unit of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) , in pursuance of the call given by the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu , has organized protest demonstrations , rallies all over the district , denouncing the government for its failure in settling the issues faced by the farmers. The TDP Kakinada parliamentary party unit president Jyothula Naveen has organized a tractors rally from his native place Irripaka to district headquarters Kakinada but the police stopped the rally near Mamidada and Narendrapatnam, informing that under covid conditions, such rallies were not permitted.
When the situation turned tense with the party workers resisting the police and entering into heated arguments, the TDP unit president Neveen requested the police to allow them to continue the protest march by foot . In alternative, he suggested that the MRO should come over there to receive the representation . Jaggampet CI Suresh Babu talked to higher officials and ensured that the MRO Saraswati came over there personally and received the representation, thereby pacifying the agitating TDP workers.
