Shimla, June 24 (Agency) Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat convened a meeting at 11.00 am under the chairmanship of Chief Electoral Officer Himachal Pradesh Manish Garg. During the meeting preparations of Presidential election were reviewed and the polling station being set up in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat was also inspected. In the meeting, proper guidelines were also given by the Chief Electoral Officer regarding the security and decoration of the polling station. Notably, that on June 18, voting would be done by the members of the Legislative Assembly at the polling station set up in the Library Room of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat for the Presidential election.
Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretary Yashpal Sharma, Collector District Shimla, Aditya Negi, Superintendent of Police Shimla, Dr. Monika Bhatungru, Director Information and Public Relations Department Harbans Brescon, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Dalip Negi, Additional Superintendent of Police District Shimla, Sushil Kumar Sharma, Deputy Secretary Legislative Assembly Sanjeev Gupta, Deputy Director, Public Relations and Protocol, HP Vidhan Sabha, Hardayal Bhardwaj, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Harbans Dhiman, District Treasurer District Shimla, Jagdish Sharma , and many other officers of the Election Department were present.
