Kolkata, Jan 24 (FN Representative) West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday called for taking pledge on this Republic Day to achieve in State free and fair elections and shun violence. Taking to his twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar said, “ Our State can flourish only when Democracy blossoms. “For this free and fair elections @MamataOfficial administration @HomeBengal & police @WBPolice have to be politically neutral,” he added. “Let’s pledge on this Republic Day to achieve in State free & fair elections shun of violence,” the Governor stated.
