Hamirpur (HP), June 1 (Agency) The Shimla rally of the BJP that was addressed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was like a nightmare and full of despair for Himachalis.Stating this here Wednesday , Rajendra Zar, the District Congress president said Modi gave nothing to the state despite huge money being spent on his tour.In a statement, he said at a time of the grand celebration of 8 years, for this state, which was financially in bad shape, every person was hoping for a big special economic package from the Prime Minister, but Narendra Modi gave a big zero to Himachal Pradesh like Devbhoomi, Veerbhoomi.
He said the rally proved that the BJP had accepted its defeat in the coming Vidhan sabha elections in the hands of the Congress party and that was why nothing was announced for the state except false slogans.Zar said the people of the state would vote for the Congress party in the coming elections en masse as they have come to know that BJP plays truant with them before every election.
