Bravehearts: ‘Aim was to make every character look believable’, says Creative Director

New Delhi, May 27 (Agency) Dice Media’s ‘Bravehearts’ is making the rounds on the internet and it’s all for the right reasons! The makers had recently dropped the news of Anup Soni and Aadhya Anand as a part of the series and now they are ready to reveal that Bollywood veterans, Shakti Kapoor and Suchitra Krishnamoorthy will be seen donning pivotal roles in the series too. Armed with years of experience in Films, TV and Theatre, these actors have displayed some great amount of work and essayed many iconic characters for us to never part ways with. How can we ever forget the OG Crime Master Gogo from Andaz Apna Apna and Anna from Kabhi haan Kabhi Naa? In addition to this, ‘Bravehearts’ will also feature an ensemble of extremely talented and prominent actors such as KK Raina, Sayandeep Sengupta, Omkar Kulkarni, Varun Tewarii, Anushka Sharma, Rohit Pargai, Giresh Sehdev, Nazneen Madan and Chillar Party fame, Naman Jain.

Created in partnership with edtech giant Unacademy, ‘Bravehearts – The Untold Stories Of Heroes’ brings together five short films about the families behind the heroes in our armed forces. Each of the five stories in the anthology captures a unique aspect of the courageous journeys of army men and women and their families – whether it is getting into the armed forces after several failed attempts, or dealing with the loss of a loved one who gave up their life for the nation, or getting to know a parent after 15 years of them coming back from service. The trailer was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival by Aditi Shrivastava, co-founder and CEO of the company who shared the ideation and creation process behind the anthology. Sankalp Raj Tripathi, Creative Director, ‘Bravehearts’, says “Our aim was to make every character look believable but at the same time, surprise the audiences, too. Any human story could create resonance with audiences only when they fall in love with our characters and feel for them. That’s where casting the right talents becomes the most integral.”
