Nawada, Mar 5 (Agency) Armed criminals looted Rs 14.45 lakhs from South Bihar Rural Bank under Hisua police station area in Nawada district today. Police said here that six criminals riding on two motorcycles stormed into Basti Bigha branch of South Bihar Rural Bank and looted Rs 14.45 lakhs from staff and customers of the bank at gun point.
They managed to escape from the spot with looted cash, police added. Police reached on the spot after receipt of the incident and started investigation of the case. Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals and recover looted cash from them, police informed.
