Kolhapur, Mar 7 (Agency) District and Sessions judge here V V Joshi on Saturday sentenced nine persons to life imprisonment for murdering two people. The murder had taken place at Tembalai Wadi area of the city on February 2, 2014 and past enmity was the reason.
Public prosecutor Ms Manjusha Patil said the accused Jaydeep alias Hanma Raju Chavan (28) and Sahil alias Ghayal Laxman Kavale (24) had given a loan to deceased Samir Siraj Khatik, who had refused to return the money.
