Dharamshala, Dec 5 (Agency) Kangra police arrested a person under different sections of Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, following recovery of Opium and Heroin from his possession at Channi near Panchayat Ghar Ground falling under Damtal Police station, late last evening, Police said here on Saturday.
Additional Superintendent of police district Kangra Mr. Badri Singh told UNI that on Saturday police recovered 7.61 grams of heroin and 5.54 grams of opium from the possession of Vishal Kumar, a resident of Chhani Tehsil Indore, District Kangra at Channi near Panchayat Ghar Ground falling under Damtal Police station. ASP Badri Singh said that police has registered a case against accused Vishal Kumar under section 18, 21-61-85 of the NDPS Act and investigation is in progress.
