Palghar, Dec 31 (Agency) Unidentified persons have allegedly burgled gold jewellery worth Rs 7 crore and cash of Rs 60 lakhs from a jeweller’s shop in Boisar town of the district. An offence under various sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered by the Boisar police station, sources said and informed that no arrest has been made in this connection so far. According to police, the thieves drilled a hole in the wall of the shop from adjacent shop and fled with 14 kilos of gold jewellery in intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The burglary came to light in the morning when the owners found the shop ransacked and the jewellery along with cash missing from it, sources added.
