Hisar, Feb 25 (Agency) Income Tax officials conducted raid at the house of Independent legislator Balraj Kundu’s in-laws in Hansi town of district on Thursday. Reports received here said that the income tax team, comprising 30 officers, in eight vehicles reached Kundu’s mother-in-law’s house at Vakil Colony in Hansi at 0630 hrs.
The team, led by Income Tax Officer Manik Shah Kapoor, Deputy Income Tax Director Jalandhar, started the raid as soon as Balraj Kundu’s mother-in-law reached the house. Nobody was allowed to go inside the house and outside during the raid. Rajesh alias Raju, brother-in-law of Balraj Kundu, Maina Devi, mother-in-law of Kundu and a servant were present during the raid. Income Tax officials have not disclosed anything yet.
