Hyderabad, Jun 6 (Agency) In one of the biggest seizures of narcotics, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 8 kg of heroin from a woman passenger from Zambia at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad, Shamshabad here on Sunday.
The woman passenger Ms Makumba Carol of Zambia, who arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad from Doha in Qatar flight (QR500), was intercepted at the airport and seized heroin packets from her possession, DRI officials said here. The foreign national who is trying to smuggle the narcotic drug, has been apprehended and investigation is in progress.
