Bokaro, Aug 4 (Agency) A group of dacoits on Wednesday looted cooper and cooper wire worth nearly Rs five lakh from a workshop of the BCCL located in Barora area under Dugdha Police Station area in this district. Police today said nearly 15 dacoits first took the two CISF jawans hostage and later broke inside the store room and decamped with the cooper and cooper wire.
Upon receiving information officials of the CISF and those from police also reached on the spot. A dog squad of the CISF was also called on the spot to look for clues. Bermo Police Inspector Gajendra Kumar Pandey said the matter is being probed and assured that culprits will be caught. Chief Engineer of the workshop Tapan Kumar said that assessment is being made on the losses incurred.
