Haldwani, Jan 13 (Agency) Almora Police on Wednesday arrested five drug peddlers with ganja worth Rs 1,35,405 at Nail Kamaan Tiraha. District Police Media cell Incharge Hema Aithani said here that Vipin Kumar (30), Kamaal (43), Deepak kumar (32), Sanjay kumar (25) and Jitendra kumar (30) were arrested on Wednesday morning when a swift Dzire car was stopped for checking at Nail Kamaan tiraha under the Salt police station. During checking police team recovered 27.081 kg Ganja valued at Rs 1,35,405 she said. All the arrested accused are residents of different areas in New Delhi. The police have registered a case under the NDPS act and seized the vehicle used in Ganja trafficking.
