Mumbai, Feb 4 (FN Agency) The BSE Sensex on Thursday fell by 157 pts to 50,098.54 on profit booking by local operators at higher level. The Nifty too declined by 61.55 pts to 14,728.40. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50,250.17 and 49,926.45 pts respectively. The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,794.60 and 14,714.75 respectively.
In 30 scrips 16 advanced while 14 declined. Mid cap rose by 1.44 pc and Small Cap by 1.35 pc. The losers were Titan by 2.15 pc to Rs 1491, IndusInd Bank by 2.06 pc to Rs 1027.90, ICICI Bank by 1.48 pc to Rs 613.05 and HDFC Bank by 1.24 pc to Rs 1555.70. The gainers were ONGC by 4.45 pc to Rs 97.45, M& M by 3.95 pc to be 865.90 and Bajaj Finance by 1.76 pc to Rs 5340.
