Hamirpur (HP), May 9 (Bureau) Congress party activists Monday held a procession and also raised slogans against the Police recruitment leak scam and blasted the state government for the entire mess. The procession was led by the Block Congress president, Suresh Patyal and other senior leaders of the party. While addressing the party workers, the district party President alleged that the police department was playing with the future of the unemployed youth by adopting a conspiratorial attitude.
This was a big failure of Jai Ram Thakur government. In the past too, there has been continuous rigging in government recruitments. He said since the party had no faith in the state government agencies, its investigation should be held only through CBI. A memorandum to this effect was also sent to the HP Governor through Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur in which a demand has been made to investigate the police recruitment case by CBI.
