Women & men should work together only then state will move forward

Ranchi, Sep 16 (Agency) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren called upon the women population of the state to walk hand in hand with the men as then only the progress of the state will be possible. Interacting with the beneficiaries of the Phulo-Jhano Aashirwad Yojana here he said that the scheme has been started in the name of the brave women of Jharkhand, Phulo-Jhano and its fruitful results have started to emerge. In poverty and helplessness, women involved in the work of manufacturing and selling ‘Hadiya’ liquor took advantage of the scheme and due to their self-confidence started creating a story of change which is a happy moment he said. The Chief Minister said that women should be a part of the government and help in the development of the state as when women and men will come together only then the state will progress.

The participation of men in society is as important as that of women, he added. The Chief Minister said that women should come forward in every field as the government is with them and will support them in other business including cow rearing, poultry farming, farming etc. At present, provision has been made to give eggs to school children six days a week to get rid of malnutrition and to provide better health to the coming generation therefore production of egg is necessary by rearing poultry so that state government can buy all the eggs. In this way, women should also manufacture other products like vegetables, grains and leaf plates which the government will buy he said and asked the women just to take advantage of all the plans and make it worthwhile. Hemant Soren said that during the pandemic period when everything had stopped and people were staying in their homes at that time the sisters of Sakhi Mandal had done excellent and courageous work. He said that the women provided food to the people in the villages as a result of which no one died of hunger. The members of Sakhi Mandal became an example of the work done towards humanity during the pandemic.
