Winter Action plan meeting held to curb pollution in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 27 (Agency) To curb the pollution menace in Delhi during the winter, Delhi government on Monday held a meeting with Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) engineers and discussed several concerning points which need to be addressed to control the pollution. Delhi Minister of Environment and Forest Gopal Rai tweeted and wrote, “Meeting with DPCC engineers regarding winter action plan. DPCC will work on key points like dust pollution, industrial pollution, green war room-green app, smog tower, real time appraisal study as well as instructions to constitute teams for implementation.”

Delhi has been facing the stubble burning problem, Delhi government is working on it to fix the issue. Rai visited IRAI Pusa to the bio-decomposer slurry making process, the solution prepared by Pusa Lab will be sprayed free of cost for stubble smelting. “Visited IRAI Pusa to see the bio-decomposer slurry making process and facilities related to its production. This year, the solution prepared by Pusa Lab will be sprayed free of cost for stubble smelting in more than 5 thousand acres of fields, for this we have formed 21 teams,” Rai tweeted.
