Skill development is big demand of 21st century: Thakur

Hamirpur, Sept 12 (Agency) In order to bridge the skill gap of the 21st century, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports, Anurag Thakur along with Harsh Jain, Founder of Dream11 and Samyak Chakraborty, Founder of X Billion Skills Lab, jointly gave a call to the youth to create the ‘Employment of the Future’. Thakur said that skill development was the need of the hour and all should come forward to adopt it. It’s worth mentioning here that the ‘X Billion Skills Lab (XBLS)’, a pioneer in 21st-century skill development, has partnered with AT Skills Hub to offer 21st-century skills to lakhs of the youth of Himachal Pradesh.
AT Skills Hub is a platform to bridge the gap between youth and industries.

To launch this initiative, a dialogue on “Skills of the 21st Century: Keys to Your Success” was organized with the participation of over 1 lakh youth of the state. Speaking on occasion with youth online, Anurag Thakur said, “Today the youth population in Himachal state is increasing and I want to enable them with 21st century skills so that they can prepare themselves for the changing dynamic and evolving digital workplace. I am in this field. I appreciate the program being jointly created by Skills Hub and X Billion Skills Lab to create the 21st century workplace for the youth of Himachal and look forward to seeing it succeed. Under the leadership of respected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, we are committed to transforming India into the world’s largest skilled workforce”. Thakur said, “XBSL and AT Skills Hub will work for skill development through animated modules, master classes through an e-learning platform to enable youth in the state of Himachal Pradesh to succeed in the changing environment where more than 50 CEOs and professionals will guide and help them in getting employment”.
