During this, his wife Dr. Nidhi Jindal and both the daughters also stayed with him. The Deputy Commissioner said that it is the good fortune of this area that great artist Sardar Shobha Singh settled in Kangra Valley after the partition of India. He said that the austerity and art of Sardar Shobha Singh gave a new identity to the already famous Kangra artwork in the field of art.

He said that the contribution of Andreta Art Gallery of Sardar Shobha Singh is so important that today art lovers from all over the country come here throughout the year and remain engrossed in the practice of art. He said that he considered it his good fortune that he got the opportunity to visit the Sardar Shobha Singh Art Gallery at Andreta today.
