Jaishankar meets with WTO Director General, UK CDS

New Delhi, Oct 22 (FN Agency) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday held a number of meetings, including with Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in-charge of the European Green Deal, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General of WTO, and with the UK CDS General Nicholas Carter. During his meeting with Timmermans, the two had a good discussion on expanding the India-EU partnership and the Indo-Pacific. The meeting with the UK CDS comes as India and the UK launched their first-ever tri-services joint exercise on October 21, which is to last for a week.
