Srinagar, Dec 21 (FN Bureau) Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbag Singh on Wednesday praised the youth of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district for choosing peaceful means of life. “Tral has almost been cleansed off militancy and youth have shunned the path of fear, violence and destruction and joined the peaceful means of life,” the DGP said to the media persons on the sidelines of the inauguration of Police Station in the area on Wednesday. “I am congratulating the people, especially the youth of the area who have shunned the path of fear, violence and destruction and joined the peaceful way of life”, he said.
He said Tral has become a peaceful place and moving forward would develop in tranquility like other parts of the Kashmir valley. “I believe that the youth should choose the same path to move ahead for development and not to fall prey on to went on a wrong path. Those who run on the wrong path never came back and met their fate”, the DGP said. He appealed the people to be the guard of peaceful means and took your youth along with to help police and administration to see Tral again a happy and developed area. “I wish to convey the message of peace, prosperity and development of Tral area”.
