Cyclonic circulation lies over West Central Bay of Bengal: Met

New Delhi, Sep 28 (Agency) The cyclonic circulation over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said in a special bulletin here on Wednesday.

The bulletin said, an east-west trough runs from north Andaman Sea to Andhra Pradesh coast across Central Bay of Bengal at 3.1 km above mean sea level. A cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge into the northeast and adjoining east central Bay of Bengal around October 1, the bulletin added.
