New Delhi, May 26, (FN Agency) At the young age of 21, when individuals are still grappling to find their bearings, there are a few iconic names like Samreen Kaur that emerge from the Indian film and music industry. A successful model and actor, Samreen has acquired immense fame and popularity in all the fields she has dabbled in.
In a tete a tete with us Samreen give us an insight into her interesting and eventful journey so far. Talking about her early years Samreen tells us she was born in Jammu and Kashmir and like any teenager harboured dreams of a good education and career. In her pursuit of the same, she qualified to pursue B. Com (Hons.) in the prestigious Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune.
From her academics she then changed course when she was presented with an opportunity to participate in Miss India 2018 and represent Jammu and Kashmir. She qualified as a finalist. A look at the gorgeous Samreen, who is well endowed with good looks and a tall and lean 5’7’’frame, and it’s not difficult to guess that this must have made her an obvious choice for a National beauty pageant. Her first huge win and she was firmly entrenched in the world of fashion and glamour. She was offered plum modelling assignments and modelled for big names like – Glenmark, FBB India, Veet, Nikon and many more.
From modelling she went on to star in music videos that zoomed on the popularity charts propelling her to greater popularity. Samreen starred in Maninder Singh Buttar’s recently released music video “Mombatiyan.” This is presented by White Hill Music. This video has received 13 million+ views and is continuing to be loved and viewed by the audience. She has also forayed into acting. She stars in “Nail Polish’’ a web show aired on the web portal Zee5.
She also features in the extremely popular T series HIT – “Tujhe Bhoolna toh Chaaha” which also has Jubin Nautiyal and Abhishek Singh. The video has got a total of 64M views and is still increasing in its viewership. When we ask Samreen what went into this success story? She flashes that winning smile of hers and tells us it is just focus on giving whatever you do your best shot coupled with leading a balanced and healthy life. She attributes her success to her inner strength, resolve, dedication and passion. She is an ardent believer of the saying “ a healthy body houses a healthy mind “ which is crucial for any individual’s success !
