Mumbai, May 26 (FN Agency) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday jumped 379.99 pts, breaching 51K level to close at 51,017.52 following gains in Realty, UT, Finance and Technology stocks amid positive global cues. The Nifty rose by 93 pts to 15,301.45. The sensex soars 262 pts to open at 50,899.58. It spurted 435 pts to 51,072.61 days high before closing at 51,017.52 from its previous close. Meaning, it was fell by 17 pts to 50,620.45, days low. The sensex registered days high and low at 51,072.61 and 50,620.45 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 15,319.90 and 15,194.95 pts respectively. The sectoral indices like Realty, IT, Technology, Finance and Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services lifted the market today. In scrips, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj finance, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki and HDFC gained while Powergrid, NTPC, ONGC, Kotak Bank and Dr Reddy declined. The Mid Cap eased by 0.14 pc while Small Cap rose by 0.69 pc. In 30 scrips, 22 advanced while 8 declined.
