Latehar, Dec 11 (Agency) Three workers who were kidnapped from a bauxite mine located at Kukudpath under Mahuadand Police Station area of this district were released after 13 days by the ultras belonging to the CPI Maoists. Police on Friday said that the trio was released in a dense forest located on the bordering areas of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh late Thursday night. On November 28 the security men posted at Kanta Ghar of the bauxite mine identified as Suraj Soni and Sanjay Yadav along with mines supervisor Ramdhani Yadav was kidnapped by the Maoists.
To ensure the safe return of these men the police teams from Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand were also making sincere efforts but could not find any trace. The family members too had urged the Maoists to release the men. After the release apart from the kin the local administration has too breathed a sigh of relief. Police sources said that the senior officials of both states were having talks with them at a safe location.
