Police seizes whale fish vomit & other materials valued Rs 3.50 cr

Kolhapur, Jan 14 (Agency) Police and forest department on Thursday succeed a six persons gang active in nebhouring Sangli district, who sailing whale fish vomit and seized vomit and other materials including a car, total valued Rs 3.50 crore, late this evening at historic Dasara Chowk and arrested sux persons. According to police, after received a tip that a gang was active in Sangli who sailing vomit of whale fish, district forest department officer Rohan Bhate approached and called in the city with fish vomit.

After arrival six members gang, forest ranger R S Kamble met then with becoming a consumer and showed amount which out in a bag and after able to believe on Mr Kamble, suspected accused gave whale fish omit to Kamble, which valued in international market as Rs 3.25 crore. Police and forest officials seized vomit and five mobiles, two two-wheelers and a car total valued Rs 3.50 crore. Arrested suspected identified as Vishwanath Namdas, Alamshah Mulla, Uday Jadhav, Rafiq Sandi, Kismat Nadaf and Aslam Mujavar. Police and forest department investigating further.
