Partha Chatterjee quizzed in I-Core case

Kolkata, Sep 13 (Agency) The CBI, probing different ponzi scams, on Monday quizzed West Bengal commerce and industry minister Partha Chatterjee for nearly two hours in relation to the I-Core ponzi scam. Mr Chatterjee, who is also the Secretray General of the ruling Trinamool Congress, said he had called the CBI investigation officials to his Kolkata office for his questioning.

Sources said a 3-member CBI official quizzed Mr Chatterjee at his Camac Street office for nearly two hours. “I told the CBI officials whatever I had to say. I would always cooperate with the investigation and hope they are now satisfied with my answer “ Mr Chatterjee told reporters. Mr Chatterjee was allegedly seen in some of the public functions organised by the now-defunct I-Core.
