Four women rescued from prostitution; Man held in Thane

Thane, Dec 20 (Representative) Four women in their twenties have been rescued here from forced prostitution, the Kolshewadi Police said on Sunday. Talking to UNI, police spokeswoman Suvarna Adsule stated that following a complaint, a raid was recently conducted near a hotel in Kalyan city. There, the cops discovered four women, apparently Bangladesh natives, being forced into flesh trade.

One Mohan alias Sanatan Surendra Barman (33) was arrested on the spot, stated police. Another accused Jitu is not yet arrested. Offences against both of them have been filed, it added.
