Four Punjab based smugglers nabbed by Chatra police with 1.500 grams of opium

Chatra, Jun 7 (Representative) A team of the Sadar Police Station on Monday arrested four smugglers hailing from Punjab alongwith 1.540 kilograms of opium. Addressing a press conference here SDPO Avinash Kumar said that four smugglers from Punjab had arrived in the area to buy opium and on the basis of inputs from Larkuwa Mode on the NH-99 these smugglers were nabbed who were travelling in the car. The police officer said that based on the inputs provided by them 116 kilograms of opium husk was recovered from Kari village under Sadar Police Station.
