Criminal Investigation Training School inaugurated by Ajit Pawar

Nashik, Apr 25 (Bureau) The crime achievement training in Maharashtra will be enhanced through the Criminal Investigation Training School, which plays an important role in qualitatively enhancing the criminal investigation capacity of the Maharashtra Police. It will also help in strengthening law and order, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar here today Mr Pawar was speaking when he inaugurated the Criminal Investigation Training School, Nashik New Administrative Building, Hostel, Restaurant Complex was inaugurated here today.. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil, MLA Hiraman Khoskar, Additional Director General of Police (Training and Special Squads) Sanjay Kumar, Joint Managing Director of Maharashtra Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Archana Tyagi, Maharashtra.

Director of Police Academy Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police BG Shekhar, Commissioner of Police Jayant Naikanware, Superintendent of Police Sachin Patil, Principal of Criminal Investigation Training School Ashok Nakhate and others were present on the occasion. Ajit Pawar further said that the new building would enhance the quality, quality and capability of the training, enhance the knowledge, experience and skills of the police in crime investigation and help in maintaining crime control and law and order in the state. Pawar expressed this at the time. An administrative building at a cost of Rs. 7.5 crore, a dormitory building at a cost of Rs. 11 crore and a restaurant at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore. The inauguration of this building, which can train 200 policemen at a time, is a matter of joy, pride and pride for the Maharashtra Police. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar congratulated all the esteemed people’s representatives, officials, employees and all concerned for their cooperation and contribution in the construction of this new building of the training school. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar further said that through this organization established in 1981, police officers are given scientific, up-to-date training in crime investigation. The process from filing an FIR to filing a chargesheet is taught here. So far, 25,000 police officers have been imparted basic training in crime investigation through 385 training sessions.

So, through 293 training sessions, 25,000 police officers were specially trained to investigate 12 types of crimes. During the Covid period, online training was imparted to 6.5 thousand officers through 93 sessions. The school has also received ISO quality certification in 2009. This performance of the organization is definitely commendable, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The administrative building has three floors and has eight training classes, CCTNS. Up-to-date facilities including laboratory, forensic, fingerprint laboratory, studio, library, auditorium, rooms for principals, deputy principals, police inspectors, ministry staff, toilets and internet are provided. The hostel building has eight floors and has 114 rooms (2 trainees in each room) to accommodate the trainees. Each room has its own toilet, geyser, cot, table, chairs etc. The restaurant building caters to 200 trainees at a time and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for hot meals with solar powered hot water facilities . On this occasion, the Minister inspected the hostel and restaurant. Also, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar felicitated those associated with the project. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pune City Srinivas Ghadge, Maharashtra Police Housing and Development Corporation Mumbai Superintendent Engineer Anita Pardeshi, Architect Supriya Padhye, Abhijit Bankar were felicitated.
