Jamtara, Dec 15 (Agency) A woman sustained serious injuries after she was attacked by her brother with an axe in Ghusrukata village under Nala Police Station area of this district here on Monday. Post the incident the woman after being administered first aid at Nala community health care centre was rushed to PMCH Dhanbad. The victim has been identified as Saraswati Marandi (28). Upon receiving information a police team led by SDPO Manoj Kumar Jha reached the spot and inquired into the incident. Post the incident the culprit who it turned out to be the victims brother Madhav Marandi had fled from the village but was caught by the police from Kistopur.
