Palghar, Mar 12 (Agency) An attempt of ATM break was foiled by an alert woman at Fadar Wadi Naka at Valiv in Palghar district, the police said on Friday. Around 0300 hrs on Thursday, when the woman noticed that the accused, identified as Salim Nanuwa Mansuri, was tampering with the ATM machine, she simply downed the shutter and called the police.
The police rushed immediately and pinned him down him. An offence was registered under section 379, 511, and 427 of the IPC and further investigation was on, the police added.
