AAP’s Durgesh Pathak gets ED summons in Delhi liquor policy case

New Delhi, Apr 8 (FN Bureau) Days after the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Enforcement Directorate on Monday summoned the senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA from the national capital’s Rajinder Nagar Durgesh Pathak in connection with the alleged money laundering in excise policy case. This comes following the allegations made by the party leader Atishi that BJP intends to arrest four more leaders including Durgesh Pathak and her before the Lok Sabha elections.

Atishi earlier asserted that the BJP got scared after the party’s rally in Ramlila Maidan, they (BJP) realised that putting the top four leaders in jail was not enough. “Top leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendra Jain are already in jail and now they (BJP) are preparing to arrest four more leaders—including me, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Raghav Chaddha and Durgesh Pathak’, she said. “I was approached by one of my close friends on behalf of BJP and told to join BJP otherwise within the next one month ED will raid my house and I will be arrested,” she claimed.
