Pen with Babasaheb Ambedkar’s signature Launched

Pune Apr 13 (Agency) A special signature edition pen with Babasaheb Ambedkar’s image and signature engraved on it was launched on Friday at PYC Hindu Gymkhana here. The launch was don by Dr Suresh Gosavi, Vice Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Parshuram Wadekar, President of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cultural Festival Committee, Padmashree Dr Milind Kamble, Founder and Chairman of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and several others were present. Speaking at the function, Dr Gosavi said, “This special signature edition pen will help take the writing culture forward. It will also inspire people to create Vikasit Bharat with the help of new education policy”.

Parshuram Wadekar said, “This is the 75th year of the establishment of Indian Constitution and to mark this special year and the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, we decided on this unique idea of a pen with his image and signature. Also, this year to promote Babasaheb’s primary principle of education, we are inviting people on April 14 to pay their respects by donating notebooks for the underprivileged. The donation is to be made at the Statue of Babasaheb Near Collector Office”. This special signature edition pen will also be displayed there at that time. Talking about the unique signature edition pen Suresh Karamchandani said, “The specially designed signature roller pen has an image and signature of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar engraved on it.
