LUVIH forays into Beauty Products retailing business; eyes 150 stores in first year

Hyderabad, Feb 14 (FN Agency) New retailing brand Luvih (Luvih means beauty in Sanskrit) owned by Rasgau International, on Sunday announced that it has forayed into Beauty Products retailing business. Promoted by noted anchor and actress Sreemukhi, Rasgau International, which initially sells perfumes in the outlets, will introduce beauty, grooming, and hair care products under Luvih (branch soon. Perfumes from 80 brands including 40 international brands price range from Rs 299 to Rs 7,500, will be available and during the first year of its operations, the company will introduce 10 global perfume brands for the first time in India, the Company said in a release here.

A total of 300 products will be on sale and 110 brands will be available online as well. Speaking after releasing the new brand at a function here , Rasgau International Director Sreemukhi , who is also the brand ambassador for the brand, said “I have been thinking of setting up a business for quite some time but I have now got partners who understand my thoughts.

The experience they have in retail business will help Luvih brand. Demand for perfumes and other cosmetics is on the rise in villages too, she said that my objective is to provide self-employment opportunities for the youth through franchise, with small investment.” Company’s other Directors V Tirupati Rao, Srikanth Avirneni and Vijay Adusumalli also said the company would set up 150 stores in the first year. Luvih has signed an agreement with Linen House, which sells linen garments, for setting up shop-in-shop outlets. These outlets will be opened in 23 outlets of Linen House located in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, they said. The brand is also taking to other retail chains for shop-in-shop outlets and the company will take back unsold products, they informed. Luvih will set up over 100 standalone outlets apart from 50 franchise stores in a year and the investment for the each franchisee outlet would be between Rs 5-9 lakh investment, they added.
