Inspector suspended for registering false cases

Pune, Oct 23 (Agency) Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash on Monday suspended a senior police inspector Ravindra Jadhav for allegedly registering false cases against two persons. According to the police, Jadhav, who attached with Chinchwad police station, registered the case of molestation, creating hindrances in performing police duty and another false case of arguments with the police against two persons, including a woman. Jadhav had registered the case against the woman who worked with meshram office. The inspector arrested meshram first and later, he allegedly arrested the woman after the sun set which is against the law. The complainant said that Jadhav had slapped two different charges against both the persons on the same day by misusing his power.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash issued the suspension order against Jadhav here on Monday for registering the false cases against the persons without any evidence.
