New Delhi, Feb 15 (FN Agency) India reported 11,649 fresh Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours taking the tally to 1,09,16,589, a slight fall from the previous day’s count of 11,711, Union Health Ministry said on Monday. Meanwhile, 90 more fatalities in the same period took the death toll to 1,55,732.
Of the fresh fatalities, 40 were from Maharashtra, 15 from Kerala and 3 from Punjab and 2 from Karnataka, 1 from Chhattisgarh and 6 from Tamil Nadu, as per the ministry. The total number of recoveries surged to 1,06,21,220 with 9,489 more patients getting discharged since yesterday. As per the ministry’s data, the number of beneficiaries vaccinated till now has increased to 82,85,295. According to ICMR, as many 4,86,122 samples were tested yesterday takings the total samples tested till February 14 to 20,67,16,634.
