New Delhi, Sep 27 (FN Agency) A sanitation worker from Gujarat visited Delhi along with his family and had lunch with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family at his Civil Lines residence on Monday.Kejriwal tweeted: “The family of Harsh Solanki, who came from Gujarat, had the privilege of being given the honor at their home. The families of both of us sat together and ate food. May God bless his entire family with happiness and prosperity.”
Harsh Solanki from Gujarat, replying to the questions of media persons, said, “In the last 75 years, no leader invited a person of Dalit society to his house for lunch. First time a leader invited me for lunch at his house, this is a matter of pride for me. It looks like I am dreaming with open eyes.”Solanki and his family also visited Delhi schools and Mohalla Clinics. “There is a lot of difference between the schools of Delhi and Gujarat,” he said. “There should be such government schools in Gujarat too,” he added. Solanki said never seen a government school with so many facilities before, this should happen in Gujarat also. Children should get a good education.
