A clerk of govt. hospital Chhapra caught taking bribe

Patna, Aug 24 (Agency) The sleuths of Vigilance on Monday arrested a clerk named Rakesh Kumar posted at Chapra Sadar hospital while taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from a doctor posted at the same Hospital. Vigilance sources said here today that the clerk had demanded the bribe in lieu of releasing the dues of house rent allowance, transportation allowance and ACP benefits from the Dr Sanjiv Kumar.

The sources said that acting on the complain of the doctor, a trap was laid and the clerk was arrested taking the bribe in the campus. The arrested clerk, after preliminary interrogation would be produced before the special vigilance court in Muzaffarpur.
