Patna, Aug 13 (Agency) Bihar state Vigilance Bureau on Friday raided the residence of an engineer Ravindra Kumar of road construction department in connection with assets disproportionate to the known sources of income and recovered Rs 75 lakh cash along with documents related to investments worth crores of Rupees. Bureau sources said here that the raid was conducted at the house of the engineer located in Punaichack locality under Shastri Nagar police station area of the state capital.
During the raid the sleuths of the Bureau found bundles of notes, 30 bank accounts, 10 policies of LIC and documents regarding various investments. Later a cash counting machine was brought and the bundles of notes on counting were found to be Rs 75 lakhs. The matter was under investigation.
