Imphal, Nov 18 (Agency) The Social Welfare Department of Manipur has published the Manipur State Policy for Children 2020 draft policy, a notification issued by Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Social Welfare, said. The policy was drafted by Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights after a series of consultations with different stakeholders viz. Child Rights & You (CRY), and Social Welfare Department as the Nodal Department. A Core Committee also examined the said draft Policy. The draft policy was published for information of all persons likely to be affected and notice was also given that the said draft policy shall be taken into consideration within this month. Objections and suggestions will be heard, it was stated.
