Tirupati, Nov 17 (Agency) Heavy Rain and strong winds lashed Chittoor and Nellore districts in Andhra Pradesh since the last three days owing to a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Vadamalapeta Mandal in Chittoor district has recorded the highest rainfall of 96 mm. The hill shrine of Tirumala has received 64 mm of rainfall in the last two days. All the dams and reservoirs in Tirumala have received heavy inflows. According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD ) Water Works Engineers, the water level at Papavinasam dam is 696.85 feet, Gogarbham dam 289.1 feet, Akashaganga dam 863.64 feet, Kumaradhara dam 898.24 feet and Pasupudhara dam 898.24 feet.
